  Book Town is filled with serious book sellers, clever promoters and talented authors. It was excellent professional development to participate and see these sellers and publishers in action. So my first Clunes Book Town Festival as an author selling my own titles proved very exciting. The marquees are simply splendid and lend the festival an international appeal. Gone are the stalls outside the shops, once a feature of the festival years ago. Book Town is now fabulous. I met many people and sold a few of my titles.
