Hello China

Hello China is a set of seven texts are available on Google Play for $1.00 each in digital format. They include three historical texts, Silk Secret, Laozi (the leader of Daoism) & Mao Zedong. Next are two narratives the Willow Pattern Story, the Weaving Maiden Creation Myth, and accompanying plays Silk and the Weaving Maiden Play. The Hello China series features exciting multiple intelligence activities, theatre texts and verse, so is very versatile. This set may also be used simply as reference texts in any school library.

Marie has retold the ancient Willow Pattern Story, portrayed on the famous blue and white China. She has included activities, suitable for primary school.

Marie has developed and written the Willow Pattern Play, which is based predominantly on the tragic tale of Koong-Se and her scribe, Chan–but has added poetic elements common to ancient Chinese poetry. 
Mao Zedong focuses primarily on the life of the leader and aspects of leadership. The text includes activities. Marie was informed that a similar text she played a role in designing won an award for design. Laozi  history details the life of the leader of Daoism and includes exciting activities, with Dao De Jing inspired verse writing activities. The focus is on verse as an essence of Daoism.
