Now it’s time to prepare the Easter gifts. My husband is suprisingly resourceful and  located the right box and the chocolate bunnies are  poking through the display windows. I would have put my card on Facebook, but the outstanding art displayed is a hard act to follow. Cardmaking has been a hobby during the past few years as I learn stronger cutting skills for bookbinding. I added a few egg patterns to one of my unique cards. Here it is. Circle cutting is a whole new skill. Happy Easter preparations!    

So Good Friday 2025 is passing with  quietness given to such an important religious occasion. Yet the usual customs are tinged with the sadness of the passings of our dear parents. My daughter’s family is having Easter lunch on Sunday, and I offered to prepare the coloured eggs. In my case, there was none of the leaf in the stocking that dear Baba mastered as she boiled traditional eggs and turned them into masterpieces, eggs with plenty of strength for knocking and clashing, where we pitted our strength against each other around the Easter table. Yet my eggs, provided by my husband after shopping. so easily cracked.  I got better…
