Clunes Booktown Festival 22-23 March
Book Town is filled with serious book sellers, clever promoters and talented authors. It was excellent professional development to participate and see these sellers and publishers in action. So my first Clunes Book Town Festival as an author selling my own titles proved very exciting. The marquees are simply splendid and lend the festival an international appeal. Gone are the stalls outside the shops, once a feature of the festival years ago. Book Town is now fabulous.
I met many people and sold a few of my titles. My Kingdom of Nerada series Book 1 Isabella Airyfairyabelous & the Sleepy Dragon & Book 2 The Faery Enchantment are now exciting young adult/children’s fantasy, which evoked discussion. The covers are both beautiful, and the first of the series, as always, particularly appealing to curious readers. During the past two years, I have continued to refine this beautiful novel and am now very pleased with the polished, final product, which is fully developed into a very exciting read, featuring the usual furniture of fantasy, crystal balls etc.
There is also plenty of interest in my small handbound journals, which feature my marbling.
