Kingdom of Nerada Isabella Airyfairyabelous & the Sleepy Dragon Book 1 and Book 2 The Faery Enchantment progress report
Hi Readers,
The good news is that after a long slog and plenty of patience from my designer and adviser, Kingdom of Nerada has new covers. They look sensational, and I am indebted to Busybird for assisting me in developing my blurb for one of them, and patiently putting up with my idiosyncratic approach to refining each of the covers. I have included the absolutely wonderful reviews, and I am just waiting for one or two elements to slot into place before I crack open the champagne and have a book launch for my series.
There is never a dull moment in self-publishing. That’s for sure. Laying to rest the covers below will be a process as I have a long association with that beautiful dragon on Isabella Airyfairyabelous & the Sleepy Dragon. I began developing the series about seven years ago, so that’s why you see me with early covers on my drafts on Facebook and online. Yet it is time to move on and discover the genre covers of a lifetime. The new covers should be on Amazon and a few other places. Ingram Spark does a great job printing, for which I am grateful. Meanwhile, the old covers, for which I have a strong affection, will be around for sometime. These novels are purely written in my own literary style and largely self-edited and self-published as far as I am aware.
Book 3 still requires work. Instead I have been doing dumb things like painting a cup and teapot still life and resurrecting my play, Silk.
Art:: my early covers for Isabella Airyfairyabelous & the Sleepy Dragon, with that fabulous dragon, and that Faery Enchantment (book 2) with that ‘angelic’ faery. See the new covers for the series online.
