Photo Illustration 28.08.2022

Hi everyone,

Today I wrote and illustrated my section about photo illustration, which adds an additional dimension to the books and texts I create. I found this necessary as I am uncertain whether people and online publishers with whom I publish understand the skill and effort involved in illustrating my texts. This is a major part of my work in designing and self-publishing my own books. Finding the right illustrations and leasing them can take considerable time. Deciding where to place them in my design is also a skill. I don’t usually mention the illustrating I do, but it is clear that for my books to be respected, this discussion of my skills as an illustrator, who also uses my own point-and-shoot photos, needs to take place.
